In a previous post I talked about “The Mode Guide to Witchcraft” and how much I loved it. This book again DID NOT DISAPPOINT. When i began my journey as a witch, the first thing I took a hold of were the tarot cards. after that I dived into the rest of my studies. I got recommended this book from my previous purchase and I was anxiously waiting for it.Since I’m still at the beginning I have this book everywhere I go.I even started to do readings on family and friends and this book is right by my side lol.Again I Highly recommend it

I had never in my life picked up a tarot deck (although I’d had readings done), and this book had me confidently doing my own readings in three days (using the card guide, of course). The explanations are simple, practical, and yet thorough, and the book delves into more than just the meanings of the cards themselves (the history of tarot, symbolism in general, etc). As an aspiring witch, this book was absolutely everything I hoped for and more, and I still reach for it every time I use my cards – it gives much more information than the booklet that came with my deck. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone looking to learn tarot.

I loved this book so much that I bought both the physical copy and the e-book. I love everything from the detail it gives about each card, the differences between upright and reversed, and and helps give interpretations for what each card might mean in certain readings. As someone who struggles to really master the meanings of the minor arcana, this book has been a great companion. A really great book for new readers, too, as the information isn’t overwhelming.

I am brand new to tarot, and I am really enjoying this book. The book gives a good background on the tarot, how to use tarot, some spread, spells, and of course the meanings of all cards both upright and reversed. I feel the explanations for the cards given is very clear, and I also enjoy there is explanations like “If this is a reading about money/love/work” so that I can better understand the meaning of the cards according to whatever my question was. I feel like this would be a good book for beginners or even those who already know a bit about tarot but want a reference book with some good spells.

Not only did it have the meanings of each tarot card (upright and reversed) but it also showed different spreads which is something I really wanted. It is detailed and just overall beautiful and high quality. Highly recommend. Oh and it also talks about the history and other information as well

I always was curious about tarot growing up. Now I’m ready to read and take that first step into understanding the cards and what they can do. I bought a couple books to help me understand tarot, and this is for sure my go to book. It helps explains the personality of each card, their meanings upright/reversed, what they symbolize in various situations, who they can potentially represent, and even helps me with a few spread recommendations. I’ve been able to pull for myself to practice, and I use this book as a reference/dictionary/guide and it has helped so much. Easy to follow and understand. I definitely recommend this if you’re a beginner.

Best tarot book I own. It gives meanings for upright and reversed. It gives history and background on the cards and the classic artwork. It also includes spreads and spells to help the divination process. I love the artwork on the book and how it feels to hold it while reading it. The pages are beautiful and vintage, and the whole book just feels so magickal.
